Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco
"Belmond Monasterio: The Best Hotel in Cusco, Beyond Any Comparison Without exaggeration, Belmond Monasterio is the best hotel in Cusco. Even after trying two other higher-priced Belmond properties and the JW Marriott, I still firmly believe this is the ultimate choice. The beauty of this hotel is beyond words. The elegant public spaces and tranquil gardens create an atmosphere of timeless serenity. The classic, historic walls whisper stories of the past, while the dazzling golden chapel adds a breathtaking sense of grandeur. Every detail is a masterpiece. Yet, what truly sets Belmond Monasterio apart is its service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Their service attitude is impeccable—perhaps the best in South America. A prime example: when I lost my credit card, they found it and returned it promptly. Compared to the Los Cabos Waldorf (which I mention due to its premium pricing), this hotel’s service is on another level—infinitely more personal, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I would love to give special recognition to my butler, though unfortunately, I have forgotten his name. In short, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Endless love for Belmond Monasterio."
Hilton Garden Inn Cusco

Katherine, German and Gabriel as well as all of the other waitresses and waiters are incredible. They are always being of service with a genuine smile with a noble spirit. The are constantly caring for all visitors. So grateful to you."

Palacio Nazarenas, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco
"We had stayed at Monastario 15 yrs ago and tried this Belmond in Cusco and can not praise the staff and management enough. Wonderful and authentic experience and the food rooms be service were excellent. As for Belmond group as a whole/LVMH, their lack of response was very concerning. We tried to book our whole 2 wk Peru trip with Belmond for 8 people and never even heard back from the Lima office. We will question staying in other Belmonds going forward after another issue with the booking process but will always come back to this special place in Cusco."
Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel
"The rooms were great. The staff was especially helpful. Not of all Gonzalo. August was also wonderful. And the server Juan Marco always helped."
Hotel Polo Cusco Suites
"Beautiful hotel"
Hotel Polo Corporativo San Sebastian
"It’s very far from the center and not in a safe area — I wouldn’t recommend it."
Kayara Cusco Hotel
"The stay at the hotel was very good. Room was big and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located"
Quechua Hotel Cusco
"The room is a little old, but the transportation is very convenient"
Tierra Viva Cusco Centro
"Staff at Tierra Viva were lovely and welcoming upon arrival, assisted with bags to our rooms, which were clean and comfortable. One of the rooms opened to a busy road, but shutters and double glazed windows allowed no noise, so we had a comfortable sleep. The buffet breakfast was great and you could some basic breakfast things including eggs made to order. We would definitely book again, thank you Tierra Viva~~"
Tambo del Arriero Hotel Boutique
"The hotel is very beautiful and stylish, lots of antique furniture and utensils. It is located 10 minutes slow walk from Plaza de Arma. At the same time, we got a room without a window, and this greatly complicated the issue with ventilation. Cusco is at an altitude of 3500, and there is no oxygen there anyway. We had to sleep with the front door open, which is not very comfortable. One morning there was a mess with breakfast. A lot of companies came at once, and the kitchen could not cope, we had to wait 20 minutes for scrambled eggs, and the trays with food were not updated. But I think that this was a temporary phenomenon, otherwise the breakfast is good. Free oxygen at the reception."
Palacio Manco Capac by Ananay Hotels
"The room is very comfortable and clean. The design and furnishings of the hotel are very stylish. The hotel staff are also very welcoming and polite, from the front desk to the restaurant and room service."
Hotel Hacienda Cusco Centro Historico
"Everything is good especially when we need leave at morning 4am , they arranged our breakfast"
Atoq San Blas Hotel
"Amazing hotel and great staff. Breakfast is very balanced and good, especially the fresh orange juice. The hike up from town can be a little challenging due to the high altitude but it’s a very quiet place and with beautiful surroundings and view of the city. Highly recommended"
Antigua Casona San Blas
"A charming small boutique hotel that truly exceeds expectations. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout our stay, with only a minor issue related to room cleaning. The room was beautifully appointed with thoughtful touches such as special teas and warm water bottles in the bed. Breakfast was included and presented in a unique and enjoyable way, making it feel special compared to standard hotel breakfasts. We also enjoyed a very good dinner at the hotel. Exceptional value for money. The location is ideal—on a quiet, narrow side street with little traffic, away from tourist crowds yet close enough to walk to most attractions. Highly recommended."
Casa Andina Standard Cusco Catedral
"Perfect breakfast in quality and service time( 5-10am), super convenient location!"
Inkarri Cusco
"It was a pleasure stayed in the hotel with my girlfriend. Everything was great!"
Casa Andina Standard Cusco Plaza
"The location of the hotel is great, right behind the Plaza de Armas. It's a bit of a quiet place. The hotel's service is also very good. Hot water and cold purified water are available in the lobby and can be taken by yourself. Breakfast starts at five o'clock, so you can eat before leaving before catching the train (the hotel where I stayed before didn't start until six o'clock, so it was a bit too late). Dissatisfaction is with the size of the room and the windows. The order showed that the room was 38 square meters. When checking in, the front desk was reminded that it was a 38 square meter room. However, the actual room size is obviously inconsistent. Both boxes are a bit difficult to open and lay flat. The actual condition of the windows is shown in Figure 1, with only about 1/5 of the windows. The large area of frosted film cannot be seen outside, which is a bit depressing, like living in a room without windows."
Ecoterra Essentials San Blas
"Good location, walking distance to almost everywhere. Staff are always willing to help."
Amerindia
"Great location. The rooms are old but very clean. The breakfasts are excellent. There is hot water. The backyard is a little noisy. But by night it's quiet."
